Paulo Barcellos began his surfing career in 1988, competing as bodyboarder at age 8. Throughout its journey he wons the first place in the Pipeline World Championship and some space in the broadcast media.
However, after three decades of competition he has reinvented himself as a camera man. His experience as a professional bodyboarder quickly made him to became one of the most respected surf filmmakers in the world. He is also recognized for capturing unusual angles and producing visually aesthetic content.
Paulo Barcellos is currently an underwater filmmaker and photographer. Moreover, he is host on the TV shows “Prancha e Pé de Pato” and “Retratos do Mar”, presented by the brazilian TV channel called “Canal Off”.
Among the best surfers in the world he had the chance to work with, stand out names like; Kelly Slater, John John, Adriano de Souza, Gabriel Medina, Carlos Burle, Pedro Scooby and Jamie O’Brien.
